Prof. Habib Noorbhai
Habib Noorbhai is a professor, scientist and academic in Health and Sports Science at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa, and a Visiting Professor at MIT. He holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Science from the University of Cape Town and has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles. He has also presented his work at 40 national & 15 international conferences, and has supervised candidates from the undergraduate to post-doctoral stages. In 2021, he received the Distinguished Vice Chancellor’s Award for Teacher Excellence at UJ, and also won the Forty Under-40 South Africa Science and Innovation award in 2023.
